Method of Investigation Learning Outcomes

LOC 1: Demonstrate basic awareness of the leading practitioners within their field study.

Reflect:  Basic awareness is important in every leading practitioner in every field study they take especially in design field. Every designer must know about basic thing in the field they choose to help them found the information and research about the field they take.

LOC 2: Evidence in understanding of the historical context for the discipline.

Reflect: Understanding the meaning in evidence that we found in every facts that been research to avoid cheating and stealing the information.

LOC 3: Discuss and evaluate their own work in a group scanlation (self-analysis)

Reflect: Be good at group work and talk with team mates and show the contribution in the work that been given.

LOC 4: Present cogent arguments verbally.

Reflect: Always know how to ask question and answering the question among the discussion between class mates and group.

LOC 5: Have a broad understanding of the wider application, creative and commercials of their chosen fields.

Reflect: Know about the application in the chosen fields in using many way to create something creative and commercial like using Photoshop, Illustrator or using picture that make someone it attractive.

This is about analysis in a book that I read. The title is PICTURES and WORDS. this book is mostly about cartoon drawing without any dialog between and one single word that they use to talk about what they want.

This book also told us to draw anything that we can use to express what we want to feel to the audience without writing anything and just do as many you can drawing picture so the audience know what you want to express in your drawing.

This book is good for young designer because it teach us that designer doesn't need to talk about everything and write about everything to express their design and by drawing the design can get more idea and it help them if they cannot talk and express what they want the client to understand.

Change advertisement Video into text writing

Pick one advertisement and change the video into a text writing.  Find keyword that they use in the advertisement and why they use it. My ads video is HARPIC product.

The keyword that they use is Dark, Powerful and Strong. This refer to the new substances they that the concoction of the Harpic product is more concentrate than before with dark blue color to remove stubborn stain in the toilet so the toilet will look new.

This task is about analyzing a print art advertisement and their competitor in group of two. Aisyah and I choose 5 advertisement.

1. Bio-Oil product

 

2. Perfume product : The same feature between new Christian Dior perfume and it's competitor Coach perfume

3. Watch product : SEIKO watch and it's competitor CASIO watch

4. Watch product : SWATCH watch

5. Facial product : OLAY

Reflection on this task : From this task I learn about group working between friend and share the opinion and information between friends and learn what important thing in print art advertisement that make the advertisement attract people to buy the products.

Last week activity is bring food to the class. I bring Nasi Goreng Ikan Bilis ( Anchovies Fried Rice). We also  learns about my friend food.

Recipe :
1 bowl of rice
Anchovies
Chili Sauce
1 Teaspoon of oil

Procedure :
1. Fried the anchovies and chili sauce first.
2. Put the rice in it and fried it until it cooked.

On Wednesday, our lecturer give us activity to think about what we should draw in the drawing paper according to the question given. When we are ask to choose one question without knowing about the question, I get " what or who need to be cool down". Below is the drawing that I made.

  I make this drawing because nowadays weather is extremely hot, so the snowman indicate about the melting of glacier in the south pole and north pole. The earth is resemble the problem that largely happen now that is the global warming. Even though, everyone need to cool down, but it also need a payment or charge in getting it. The global warming and the melting of glacier need a great budget to repairing or maintain the temperature of the earth. But for me, if we need to maintain we should do it before it become worse and think about the consequences that will happen because of the ignorance in human mind.

Subj: Academic Skill ( Reflection about Blog Presentation )

Teacher: Miss Nadyra Bashir

    Last week, our group had done Academic Skill presentation with our lecturer. Then, our lecturer told us to comment on our friend group how we can improve or maintain with 3 bad comment and 3 good comment to our friend. I had been require to comment about Aisyah presentation. I told her about the she need to be brave when public speaking with people especially in English. She also need to improvise speaking in English and control her shaking when talking with people. The good thing is, she improvise from before.

      Then our lecturer give her own opinion about our presentation. When, she told me that I was mature in the group, I feel like it's funny because I not what it seem. Then, I speak monotonously so I think I should change my tone of speaking in presentation. When I was told to presenting something, I tend to throw out what other people do such as laughing or any other thing that will disturbing the presentation because I like to make my presentation short, simple but full with information.

       The presentation is from Samira. She organize her blog sleekly and her powerful technical word in her presentation. She also good in explaining the concept and the word that we don't understand.

      Then, our lecturer told us find the meaning of peer learning. In my opinion, peer learning is like a group study but the friend among the group give their own opinion or comment about the their friend work and this type of learning is good to improve their own study.
